Bahá'í Faith

The aim of the organisation is to raise capacity in people to take charge of their own spiritual, social and intellectual development within their neighbourhoods. Among the activities that people can participate in are: meetings to strengthen the devotional character of the community; moral values classes to nurture the hearts and minds of children; spiritual empowerment groups for junior youth (ages 11-14) to develop their potential and to contribute to the transformation of society; study groups that empower people of all ages to apply spiritual principles to make a positive contribution in their community.

The Swindon Bahá'í community also runs the successful swindon Young People's Empowerment Programme (SYEP) in 20 schools. Training courses available. Also speakers on a range of spiritual, moral and social themes available, as well as presenters for school assemblies.
