Brook Field Primary School
Brook Field opened in 1987 to cater for the growing number of primary school children moving to the new houses in Shaw, Nine Elms and Peatmoor. We are situated on the edge of the Western development adjacent to a green belt area and the large expanse of Lydiard Park Estate. The majority of housing with the catchment area is owner/occupier.
We have two purpose built buildings with fourteen classrooms. The accommodation comprises of two halls, with seven (two class) teaching units, each having a “quiet” room and an adjacent practical area. There are also library areas, an ICT suite, a school kitchen and the usual offices. The class bases allow a flexibility of teaching styles. We pride ourselves in being an open school welcoming the involvement of children, staff, parents and governors in all aspects of school life.
