Christ Church Bell Ringers

Ringing for our church services - mainly Sundays. To ensure continuity of the art of church bell ringing. To welcome ringers from all over the world!

Teaching learners. Ringing for weddings, special services and occasionally specific requests.

No provisions for disabled people as entry to the tower is via a spiral staircase.

Sunday 9am - 9.30am & 5.30pm - 6.30pm. Practice night: Tuesday 7.30 - 9pm.

Ringing library - private. Handbells - used for teaching purposes mainly.

Campanology. Methods rung include plain bob, grandsire, stedman, doubles, triples, 7 caters, Cambridge, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, surprise Royal and others. 10 bells, 22 cwt tenor.

Supported by P.C.C. (Christ Church). Affiliated to Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Guild of Bell Ringers - Swindon Branch.

Voluntary steepleage scheme - approx. £10 per annum.

Age range: 9-90 approx.
