Freyabeya
FreyaBeya is a small musical charity setup in memory of our beautiful daughter Freya. FreyaBeya will primarily raise money to enable special needs schools to buy in live music. The arts are sadly very much forgotten about within the narrow constraints of the National Curriculum.
FreyaBeya would give total freedom to teachers to introduce children to ANY type of music, allowing it to be child-led rather than curriculum-led. THIS IS A HUGE PLUS!! The music could range from Soundabout-type stuff (resonance boards right through to high-tech sound beams) through to any type of genre, depending on what motivates the child.
To date FreyaBeya has provided many schools with music.
