One of 12 community forests being established throughout England. Community forests cover large areas on the edges of towns and cities where major environmental improvements will create well-wooded landscapes.

A source pack can be downloaded with nine fact sheets covering all aspects of rural investment.It also has a new map of Stanton Park plus info about Swindon Cycle Route, linked to the Out and About section. Newsletter 'Forest Focus' (formerly "Heartwood"), published twice a year.
