Lawn Community Church

Lawn Community Church meets in the Lawn Community Centre in Guildford Avenue,  Swindon, Wiltshire.

We are a Baptist Church founded in 1995

We meet for worship on Sundays at 10.30am.

Our vision  is "Making Jesus known in Lawn ... and beyond" as shown in:

  • Living daily in obedience to Jesus and His word.
  • Meeting together regularly for creative worship, teaching, prayer and mutual support.
  • Caring for the spiritual, physical, emotional and social needs  of the community.
  • Our practical involvement with young people and their schools.
  • Working with the Lawn Community  Association to develop facilities and bringing people together to foster a  stronger sense of community.
  • Supporting and developing the wider church across Swindon, in  particular
    • within the Baptist denomination
    • with the Old Town Partnership of Churches
    • with other local  churches
