Multiple Sclerosis Society - Swindon & District
The MS Society is the UK's largest charity for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) with branches operating in all areas of the country.
If you've been diagnosed with MS it is natural to be confused and apprehensive. Remember that you are not alone. In the UK, more than in excess of 100,000 people are living with MS. Many of these people have turned to the MS Society for support and information.

The MS Society (Swindon and District Branch) produces a quarterly newsletter as well as our web site. We arrange regular meetings, both social and research-related.
SwindonMS have the following services availible:
- Homeline – Part funded. Giving those persons with MS the peace of mind as they continue to live independently.
- Hydrotherapy Pool – Fully funded
- Physiotherapy Groups at GWH– Fully funded
- Transport to all our events – Fully funded
- Groups – in the last year we have identified the younger diagnosed, adult and young carers as needing support from the branch. These groups are still in the process of being put together (it takes time) but should be up and running by next year.
- Outings and social events - We always ask for donations for the cost of running events, as this helps the money raised go that much further.
