National Project For Story Sacks

A Storysack is a large bag containing a good quality picturebook and supporting materials to stimulate reading activities.

The storysack contains toys of main characters with props and scenery relating to the story to bring the book to life. A non-fiction book linked to the fiction theme, a CD and a language game based on the book are included.

The sacks are made by parents and other volunteers or can be purchased from Storysack Limited, Resource House, Kay Street, Bury, Greater Manchester BL9 6BU. Tel: 0161 763 6232.
