Police Information Point at Highworth Enquiry Office
Volunteers at the Office will be able to provide:
Information and signposting to other services within Wiltshire Police and to other partner agencies;
Appointments can be arranged with local officers;
Standard forms will be available, including Criminal Record Bureau and Data Protection Forms;
Information on how to contact the local Neighbourhood Policing Team;
Details of mobile phones and other items that have a serial number can be taken and recorded on the 'Immobilise' database - this helps the police service to return property that has been recovered or found;
A phone is available to report crime;
Found property can be taken in, items will then be recorded and temproarily stored before being taken to police storage;
Access to leaflets on crime prevention.
The Information Point will NOT be able to help with:
People reporting on bail;
Production of vehicle documentation;
Recording of Road Traffic Collisions;
Any motor vehicle issues;
Receiving lost dogs;
Immigration issues and enquiries - including registration;
Sex Offenders registration.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 10am - 2pm.
If your enquiry cannot be dealt with by the Information Point volunteer you will be directed to the nearest Wiltshire Police Enquiry Office. These are located at Chippenham, Melksham, Marlborough, Salisbury, Swindon, Gablecross & Trowbridge.
