Purton & Cricklade Young Farmers Club
Purton & Cricklade Young Farmers Club is based approximately 5 miles from Swindon.
Senior Club
We are a group of young people all with an interest in the countryside, ages 16 - 26. Although we don't all live in the countryside.
Contrary to popular belief we are not all farmers our members include students, travel agents, warehouse workers, carpenters, chartered surveyors and yes some farmers!
Junior club
The junior club comprises members aged between 10-16. The members all have an interest in the countryside, but don't necessarily live on farms.
Activities include night hikes, cookery, charity cycle rides and many more.
Most importantly all members are interested in having a good time and socialising with people of similar age. The club is supervised by several responsible adults.

We meet every Wednesday (seniors) or Tuesday (juniors) and have a varied programme.
Meetings and activities include:-

- Trips to local brewery

- Greyhound racing
- Community projects
- Rally day
- Public speaking competitions
- Discos / Balls
- Fundraising activities
- Harvest supper
- Christmas Quiz
- Training days / weekends
- Carol singing
