Purton Pram Service
Purton's Methodist Church at Play Close has been the home of Purton's Pram Service for more than 30 years
Mums, Dads, carers and children have enjoyed meeting here through the school terms to sing, draw listen to stories and have fun.
The group is currently run by Judith Wells with the support of St Mary's Parish Church and the Methodist Church. Judith is already known to most of the children and parents of the local St Mary's Primary School, where she is regularly invited to read a story to the children at the schools assemblies.
Everyone is welcome to Pram Service and to join in with the activities, songs and stories. With tea, coffee and biscuits for the Mums, Dads & carers and squash for the children.
Our main aim is to let the children enjoy some Bible based singing, stories and activities that are fun.
The Prayer Bear
It is the perfect place to come for a chat and make new friends, shelter from the rain while you wait for your children to come out of school and let the children make new friends.
We celebrate the special times through the year with songs and activities to match the season.
So drop by and join the fun.
