STFC Study Centre
The Study Support Centres were established for primary and secondary pupils (boys & girls) aged 10 to 14 years to continue their learning after school and in the holidays. Students from 20 primary and secondary schools attend study support each academic year for one evening a week for 6 weeks. Monday – Thursday. The students work in teams on a series of challenges issued by the club and present their ideas to an invited audience on the final evening. Well over 4000 students have benefited from using our impressive ICT resources, which include networked and internet linked PC's, digital cameras, digital camcorders and Apple Mac laptops.
