Shaw Ridge Playgroup
For many children, attending a playgroup is their first step towards independence. At Shaw Ridge Playgroup our aim is to help your child to mix socially and to develop through a wide range of experiences and activities in a safe and happy environment. Each child has a personal Key Person who makes sure that your child is making satisfactory progress in their learning and development.

With the emphasis on play, our activities include music, singing, painting, water play, crafts and dressing up. We have a secure outdoor garden where the children can play with a wide range of outdoor toys and apparatus. We also organise outings and have events and visits throughout the year.
The playgroup is located in Shaw Ridge Primary School, which offers many benefits - not least is our association with the school which assists your child's smooth transition into full time education.
As a registered charity, Shaw Ridge Playgroup operates for the benefit of the local community and belongs to the families that use it.
