Speech and Language Therapy (SALT)

The service is based at the Great Western Hospital but the team work in a variety of locations in Swindon.

It is a service for inpatients and outpatients, adults with acquired communication and/or swallowing difficulties.

We accept referrals by letter, fax or phone call. Referrals are usually made by GPs, consultants and other health professionals, but self-referrals can be accepted in some cases.

We are able to work through interpreters if needed.
