Supermarine Bowls Club
Supermarine Bowls Club was formed in 1947 under the name of Vickers Sports & Social Club. Changed name to Supermarine Sports & Social Club in 1985. This was after the Supermarine Spitfire built by Vickers Armstrong. We are a private members club and in 2004 we purchased our own green and clubhouse,thanks to the generosity of its members, and help from the English Bowling Association. (Now known as Bowls England).
The club completes in two leagues, Swindon & District, and Wiltshire Bowls Association. Supermarine Bowls Club have won the Swindon & District League 3 times.
