In a nutshell, to create a 'community' of gardeners and allotment holders. For their mutual benefit and to foster wider interest in gardening.
We hold monthly meetings with topical speakers - free admission. Annual Potato Day; Horticultural show & school horticultural show; Occasional coach trips to places of interest.
Gorse Hill Community Centre has wheelchair access and disabled toilets.
Monthly - 3rd Thursday of each month 7.30pm at All Saints Church Hall, Southbrook Street.
Audio system, slide projector and screen available.
Discount seed scheme, low price 'shop' for members, newsletter and advice.
Registered Charity No. 1138814.
Affiliated to Royal Horticultural Society and National Vegetable Association.
Annual subscription £4 per household. Monthly meetings free and open to non-members.
All ages welcome.
