Swindon Community Equipment Service
We help sick or disabled people in their own homes by supplying equipment which can assist them or their carers/family.
Equipment available: Bed and chair raises, bathing seats and lifts, toileting, electric beds and various types of chairs, hoists and manual handling safety equipment.
When members of the public have finished using equipment they can contact us direct to ask for items to be collected ( target - within 2 weeks).
We provide a delivery and fitting service.
Charges: Department of Health Guidelines are that equipment is free of charge loan if people qualify for service via NHS or council systems.
Service is available to Swindon Borough Council residents, via Occupational Therapist, District nurses and Physiotherapists working for the Council or local NHS organisations.
