Swindon Counselling Service
Swindon Counselling Service (SCS) has a Board of Trustees, a Director of Services, a Management Committee, and many Counsellors all of whom are checked with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) to the Enhanced level of Disclosure . We work to the BACP Ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy; all Counsellors have supervision.
We are a Registered Charity: No. 1066502, Company No: 344832 and have been working in Swindon and the surrounding area for over eighteen years with people with personal, emotional, and relationship difficulties.
The Service is autonomous and is affiliated to the Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF), a national organisation with some thirty counselling centres throughout the UK. The quality of our counselling is assured through the WPF who approve and regularly appraise counselling in the Service. Our Service is also accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
SCS has a policy of Equal Opportunities both in the service it provides and in its employment practice.
SCS operates in a smoke free environment.
We provide counselling from 9am to 9pm on Mondays to Thursdays and from 9am to 5pm on Fridays.
