Swindon Fairtrade Coalition
Raising awareness and encouraging use of Fairtrade products.
Instrumental in the Borough gaining Fairtrade status in 2006 and the successful renewal of this status in 2009. Presentations, assemblies and classes, along with stalls at various events, all carried out by volunteers. Previous projects have included the production of a Fairtrade calendar, packs of Fairtrade receipe cards (both of these involved local schools), plus the first ever Swindon Fairtrade Borough postcard.
