We recruit, train and manage volunteers undertaking voluntary work within the Great Western Hosiptal and Swindon Intermediate Care Centre.
Disabeld toilets, lifts, ramps, and disabled accesses etc.

Volunteers play a vital role at the hospital. The minimum age for volunteers is 17 years or over and must be able to help over a period of not less than 6 months due to the length of the recruitment process. We organise the following which are all requirements before a volunteer can begin: CRB clearance, occupational health screening and attendance at the hospital induction. Recruitment takes palce in April and September, there is a waiting list for applications outside these times.
