Swindon Speedway's Robin team race in the Sky Sports sponsored Elite League, considered to be one of the strongest speedway leagues in the world. Just think all this exhilarating action right here on your doorstep in Swindon! Imagine watching bikes with no gears and no brakes racing around the arena at speeds in excess of 70mph…Definitely breathtaking stuff!
Within the Elite League each week 9 teams race for a title. And each week a different meeting is screened live in Sky Sports, with two further repeats. Last year Swindon Speedway and the Robin team at the Abbey Stadium, Blunsdon appeared FOUR times! That's 4 screenings to a MASSIVE audience each time! Like to be a part of that?
