Swindon Shopmobility
Provision of a selection of manual and powered wheelchairs, scooters and walkers for people with mobility problems, helping them to access Swindon Town Centre.
Free parking facilities, large waiting area, toilet facilities, hearing loop system, selection of wheelchairs and scooters, escort service for visually impaired people.
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday: 9am - 4.30pm. All equipment to be returned by 4.20pm. Closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Volunteers available to help people access Swindon Town Centre. Large selection of wheelchairs, scooters and other equipment available. To avoid disappointment it is advisable to book in advance on the above number. If getting to Swindon Shopmobility is a problem, why not use Dial A ride, 01793 616050.
Initial free trial then £12.50 annual registration fee. There is a daily fee of £2 for non-registered users. The service is then free each time you use it. Proof of ID required on your first visit eg passport or driving licence and one proof of address eg a utility bill.
