Technology for Disabled

The group became a registered charity in March 1990.  Its aims are to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.

Opening times – Monday to Friday – 10am to 2pm

We aim to provide a computer and printer on loan for a small annual fee, to a disabled person.

We will also provide volunteer instructors to those who need support.  This can take place in the trainees home or at the Tech4D room in Pinehurst People Centre, Swindon.

E-mail, First on Line course funded by UK online Ufi South West.  There is a waiting list of people who would like to have a computer and the charity is doing its best to meet everyone`s needs.

A committee runs the charity consisting of able-bodied and disabled people, with the help of a dedicated band of volunteers who understand the needs of disabled and disadvantaged people.
