The Al-Fitra School
We are a new and flourishing Saturday school situated in Swindon. Al Fitra was established by a small group of people in 1999, concerned about educational achievements of local community children.
The school supports around 50 students with a teaching staff of 15. We have 6 classes that cater for a broad age range of 5 – 16 year olds. Given current demand and to maintain quality, we operate a waiting list for most classes.
Our range of subjects includes, Islamic History, basic Fiqh, understanding Quran and Hadith. Class atmosphere for 12+ ages is that of mentoring / coaching and pupils are encouraged to bring in projects of their interest and participate / debate matters fully in a friendly environment.
Al Fitra is held in high regard within Swindon’s Muslim Community and we trust our web site leaves you with an equally good impression of our school.
