The Arts Centre
The Arts Centre presents mostly drama / music / comedy with an emphasis on something for everyone: amateur productions, small scale touring, music - classical, jazz, blues, choral, small scale drama, children's theatre, revue, music hall, comedy, cabaret events, club meetings and lectures.
Raised proscenium stage; lighting equipment; sound equipment; dressing rooms, piano, licensed bar, blackout; Seats - 212 raked.
Ticket / booking office Monday to Friday 12noon to 5pm. Saturdays 10am to 1pm. On nights when there are shows the Box Office remains open until the start of the performance. Courses, Classes and Meeting Facilities: Monday-Saturday from 10.00am. To book tickets call 01793 614837.

The Arts Centre also offers visitors a chance to stop and enjoy a drink and a snack at the Studio Café where food is available to eat in, take-away or pre-order. Old Town Library is now also housed within the Arts Centre: Opening hours with self service: Monday - Fridays 10am - 5pm & Saturdays 10am - 1pm. Staffed Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday 10am - 1pm & Tuesday, Friday 1pm - 4pm, Thursday 4pm - 7pm. Please call 01793 463238 for more information.
