About Salt Way Children’s Centre: Salt Way Children’s Centre is funded by Sure Start which is a government plan to improve services for families with children under 5.
At Salt Way we will offer a One Stop Shop of services for all families with children living in Shaw, Prinnels, Nine Elms, Middleleaze, Ramleaze, Peatmoor, Eastleaze and Grange Park. Our aim is to support families to give their children the best start in life, by improving health, education and quality of life.
Who will the Children’s Centre be for?
Everybody is welcome to use the Children’s Centre.
We are committed to equality for all people irrespective of race, disability, culture, gender or sexuality. All parents, carers, guardians, grandparents, childminders, foster parents and nannies, in fact anyone who looks after children of 0-5 years can use the centre.
The Salt Way Centre has access to: Health Visitors / Doctors / Dentists / Midwifery Affordable childcare / Family Information Services / Breast feeding support groups / Journeys 2 Work – training and employment advice.
The Centre is available Monday to Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm for you to drop in, have a chat and access information and support. What will the Centre be offering you? You do not have to have a problem to attend any of the drop-in’s or services that this centre offers. However, a Family Link Worker will be available to offer a confidential one to one if required.
