The Mitchemp Trust
The Mitchemp Trust is a small charity that runs outdoor adventure camps for vulnerable young people aged 11 – 14 years old from the Wiltshire area.
The camps take place in the school summer holidays in Wales and Scotland. The children are referred to us by schools, youth groups and Social Services.
The young people take part in a range of activities aimed at raising their self esteem and confidence; from climbing, abseiling, caving and canoeing to hiking and outdoor living.
Through giving these young people the opportunity to try new things and work as part of a team, they are encouraged to develop essential life skills and unlock their potential.
