Upper Stratton Baptist Church
U.S.B.C. is an evangelical Baptist Church in Swindon, comprising around 150 members. We are affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and are members of the Evangelical Alliance. The church was founded in 1862 (then known as the Tucker Memorial Baptist Chapel) and the premises were refurbished in 1996 to provide facilities better suited to our modern needs.
Our Sunday worship services each seek to glorify God in different ways:
We have a:
* Morning Service at 9.15am, which is a more traditional style
* Family Worship service at 11.00am, with groups for kids and family-orientated worship
* Evening Service at 7.00pm, usually more informal or youth orientated (not in summer holiday period).
Worship is led by a talented group of musicians with a range of instruments - keyboard, piano, drums, oboe, organ, recorder, flute, guitars, and tambourine are all used at various times.
