Vision 4 Wroughton
In October 2004 Wroughton Parish Council (WPC) took up an option, offered by the Market Town Initiative (MTI) in conjunction with Swindon Borough Council (SBC), to apply for a grant to enable us, the community, to produce a 'Community Strategic Action Plan for the Parish.
The subsequent successful application led to the formation of the group “Vision for Wroughton” (V4W)
In 2006 this group consulted the parishioners through questionnaires and public meetings and conversed with officers and councillors of public bodies. The document is the result of these deliberations. It identifies the actions and projects that, if brought to fruition, would help to ensure the Parish develops in the way the community would wish.
