Wizard Education
Providing intergenerational opportunities within the community where our younger students help older members of the community to get online for the first time. We provide ongoing support through our Silver Surfers group where people can learn about using email, surfing the web, Facebook, shopping online, using Ebay, job hunting online and much more.
We are a UK Online centre and run open events to increase awareness of the benefits of being able to use computers and the internet.
Most of our courses are delivered at venues with full wheelchair access and facilities.
Free Beginners: 3-4pm Thursday, General Session 4-6pm Thursday. (These times will also be available on Tuesday subject to numbers).
We are part of Wizard Education (www.wizardeducation.co.uk), we are also a UKOnline Centre.
Free beginners classes, £5 per general session.
All really, we do courses for 14-19yrs old via the schools but we also do adult (19+) community courses including the 50+ silver surfers group
